SS 176 PERCH 2/25/1935 5/9/1936 11/19/1936 Heavily damaged while attacking Japanese convoy 30 nm NW of Soerabaja, Java, surfaced to repair, CO ordered abandon ship as Japanese escorts closed. Lost in action 3 Mar 1942. All hands taken prisoner.
SS 177 PICKEREL 3/25/1935 7/7/1936 1/26/1937 Sunk by Japanese, probably during surface attack off Japan, 3 Apr 1943 (74 killed). Reported overdue and presumed lost 12 May 1943.
