Multi-Role Vessels / Multi-Purpose Support Vessels
Multi-purpose support vessels are designed to operate in a more specific role whether it be pipe-laying, diving, well intervention, ROV, stand-by and accommodation vessels to name a few. These vessels are typically designed to accommodate a range of work scopes often with "plug and play" equipment.
These Multi-Role Vessels may be designed and arranged for following duties: Offshore rescue assistance, tanker assistance, towing, field assistance and unloading deck cargo and Liquid cargo to rigs and production platforms. The vessels may be equipped for field standby operations.
Designed as a multi-role vessel for the oil and gas industry, these vessels provide supply and general support; construction support; maintenance support; and underwater pipeline inspection. Secondary roles might include platform fire fighting and cooling, anti-pollution oil dispersant spray operations as well as standby and rescue operations.
Fast Support and Intervention Vessels (FSIV) are high speed crew/supply boats. Not only do they carry heavy loads for the oil industry, they are also offshore firefighting and rescue boats.
Multi Purpose Supply Vessels [MPSV] are general-purpose ships able to ensure a broad diversity of services of maintenance of the oil fields. These ships offer functions sophisticated such as dynamic positioning, fire protection fight, handling by deep sea, platform helicopter, great capacity of carrying out of equipment and a personnel.
