M879 81mm Full Range Practice Cartridge
The M879 Full Range Practice Cartridge is designed for use with the 81mm Mortar System and provides realistic, cost effective training. The M879 is ballistically matched to the M821A1/889A1 81mm High Explosive cartridges. The M879 is equipped with the M751 Practice Fuze which is a facsimile M734 Multi-Option Fuze and produces flash, bang and smoke.
