M2 107mm HT/HD Gas Mortar Cartridge
The M2 4.2 inch mortar projectile containes either HD or HT blister gas, and has a perforated vane assembly welded to the inside of the body which is designed to accomodate the burster tube that extends from the fuze. The M2A1 has an aluminum pressure plate, and the M2 has a steel plate. The M8 integral fuze includes the 14.062 inch M14 burster.
