Gulfstream G500
Introduced in 2002, the Gulfstream G500 features the PlaneViewT cockpit and offers the Gulfstream EVS and Head-Up display as added features. The large-cabin, ultra-long-range aircraft can fly 18 passengers nonstop 5,800 nautical miles at a cruising speed of .885 Mach and to an altitude of up to 51,000 feet. Customers can choose from six Premium InteriorsT as well as from a variety of additional options.
Available now, the first deliveries for entry into service are scheduled in 2004. The Gulfstream G500 business jet, with its two Rolls-Royce BR710 engines, can fly 5,800 nm with eight passengers at a cruising speed of Mach .80 from Los Angeles to Moscow without refueling. Versatile in its ability to reach four continents from North America, the large-cabin, ultra-long-range jet can fly up to 5,000 nautical miles at Mach .85. The G500's required takeoff distance is only 5,150 feet.
