Note to Users The Airspace Guide review period is complete and revisions are being processed. This guide was developed to be used by both the FAA and DoD as a supplement to their training material for their airspace managers. For this reason, you will see explanations in the guide such as "What is a GACC?". It is the intent of the guide to not only educate our own agency personnel about airspace, but to assist DoD and FAA in understand land management agencies. The draft guide currently consists of 12 chapters, a Table of Contents and an acronym list. Future appendices are under development. Please encourage users to provide feedback. Questions and comments may also be forwarded to Julie Stewart at julie_stewart@or.blm.gov or at 503-808-6728. Thanks for your time and patience. I hope you find the reading enjoyable. Julie |
