The JRTC produces a "Client Update," to units about "the training center, new initiatives, current guidance, and most importantly, training observations and trends." This CALL produced trend report takes the trends and observations from the Client Update and modifies the format for timesaving readability.
Organized by the Battlefield Operating Systems (BOS) and categorized by the Blueprint of the Battlefield, TRADOC Pam 11-9, Section I provides bulletized statements of observations reflecting JRTC's assessment as either Strengths or Needs Emphasis. If you want to read more about any particular observation, refer to the BOS narratives in Section II. These narratives give more depth, and where appropriate and/or available, CALL has highlighted TECHNIQUES or PROCEDURES useful in improving tasks needing emphasis.
