a. Personnel

  • SJA - Uses ADOCS to review targets for possible legal ramifications, develops Rules of Engagement and provides operational law expertise.
  • Commo - Provides signal support for troubleshooting and repairing of telephones (tactical and DSN), radio, and single-channel TACSATs.
  • G1 - Provides personnel support to Corps artillery personnel only; admin support to the DOCC.
  • G4 - Provides supplies and logistic support to the DOCC.
  • MLRS Bn LO - Provides SITREPs, OPORDs, reports, FRAGOs to MLRS Bn to and from the DOCC.

3. Targeting and Plans Van

a. Personnel

  • Supervises the artillery attack of targets during mission execution.
  • Coordinates fires during deep operations.

4. Fire Control Element Van

a. Personnel
  • 2 x E7 - Shift NCOICs (13C and 13P)
  • 2 x E5 - Fire Control Sergeant
  • 3 x enlisted - IFSAS operator, FDS Operator, RTO

c. Functions
  • Provides tactical fire control for all MREs, and combat operations.
  • Tracks Acquisitions from counterfire headquarters and passes them to FSE for ASR nominations.
  • Maintains communications with all firing elements.
  • Conducts automated fire planning.

5. Army Airspace C2

a. Personnel
  • 1 x MAJ - Officer in Charge (Aviation)
  • 2 x CPT - Shift Officer (Aviation)

  • 2 x 93P10 - Shift Flight Operations Specialists

c. Functions
  • Manages/coordinates airspace for TF Hawk.
  • Coordinates with the Combined Air Operations Center and civilian airfield managers on the utilization of airspace by Army Aviation and Field Artillery units.

6. G3 Air

  • 1 x CPT - Task Force G3 Air (Aviation)
  • 1 x E7 - Task Force G3 NCOIC (67T)

b. Equipment

c. Functions
  • Approves Air Tasking Order requests from TF Hawk subordinate units and forward requests to the CAOC for approval.
  • Issues mode 3 transponder codes to subordinate units upon approval from the CAOC.

7. Air Support Operations Center (ASOC) (Two Vans)

a. Personnel
  • Corps ALO (1 x COL, 1 x LTC, 1 x MAJ)
  • 2 x ALO
  • 3 x ETACs
  • 2 x Intel reps

b. Equipment
  • 2 x SATCOM (High Gain for CAS, Low Gain for Air Ops 2)

  • Interim Remote Air Picture (IRAP)
  • Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI)

  • Facilitate interaction between TF DOCC and CAOC.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on all Air Force aircraft and systems.
  • Monitor air picture and provide intelligence to G2 Analysis and Control Element (ACE).
  • Process immediate air support requests (ASRs) as required.

8. Attack Helicopter Regiment Van (Multiple)

a. Personnel. The Regimental Tactical Operations Center was linked directly into the DOCC. The S3 section, S2 section, Air Force Liaison Officer (ALO) and S6 sections served as the primary DOCC participants (see Regimental TO&E).
