Crisis-Management Plan

The following pages highlight areas of concern in crisis-management planning. This plan is not meant to be all-inclusive or rigidly followed. Figure D-1 is a sample format only. It does not reflect a format developed and approved for use with OPLANs or contingency plans (CONPLANs) prepared by the CINCs to fulfill tasks assigned in the Joint Strategic Capabilities Plan (JSCP) or as otherwise directed by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Figure D-2 is a sample of the Crisis-Management-Plan Checklist, which is Annex A or Appendix H to the crisis-management plan. This checklist will help ensure that the plan is sound.
