This subcourse addresses the fundamentals of river-crossing operations and engineer support to the crossings. Lesson 1 outlines the fundamentals of river-crossing operations. Lesson 2 addresses the command and control (C2) of river-crossing operations. Lesson 3 addresses the planning of a river-crossing operation, the requirements for a division deliberate river-crossing operation, and the tactics and techniques used to conduct a retrograde river-crossing operation. The performance of all operations will be consistent with environmental laws and regulations.
There are no prerequisites for this subcourse.
