The Russian Federation forces conducted two attacks on the Ukrainian port infrastructure located on the Danube River on the night of November 3rd to 4th. Following these actions, numerous explosions were noticed on the Ukrainian shore.
Following the signals detected by the surveillance systems and according to air police procedures, two F-16 aircraft deployed to Feteşti Air Base and, two German Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft deployed to Mihail Kogălniceanu Air Base, scrambled at 00.17, respectively at 02.45, to recon and to ensure the security of the national airspace.
Mission commanders had approval to engage aerial targets if they entered national airspace and endangered the security of Romanian citizens.
