- Recovery Operations for Marine Fighter Jet Conclude Navy Newsstand 28 Jun 2004 -- Recovery operations for a missing U.S. Marine Corps pilot and F/A-18C Hornet aircraft operating from the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) have concluded. The pilot, Capt. Franklin R. Hooks II, 32, of Pasco, Fla., was killed in the accident.
