- 1st Infantry Division Captures Anti-Iraqi Forces Cell Leader In Buhritz CENTCOM 20 Jun 2004 -- 1st Infantry Division Soldiers came under attack June 16 after meeting with city officials in Buhritz, just north of Baghdad, to coordinate for improvements to city infrastructure. Anti-Iraqi forces attacked the mayor's office with rocket-propelled grenades and small-arms fire.

- IAI/Malat's Bird-Eye 500 Mini UAV Makes Successful Historic Maiden Voyage over Amsterdam, Netherlands Israel Aerospace Industries 20 Jun 2004 -- IAI/Malat in cooperation with Condor UAV B.V., successfully flew the Bird-Eye 500 mini UAV in thepresence of high-ranking Amsterdam Police officials on June 18th 2004. The test demonstrated all performance requirements and was the first mini unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flight in the Netherlands for civilian purposes.

- ISRAEL/ARAB EMIRATES VOA 20 Jun 2004 -- Israel is planning to open an office in the United Arab Emirates for the first time, in the hope of establishing future official diplomatic ties. The move is part of efforts by Israel to improve its relations with the Arab world following the cabinet's approval of the disengagement plan from some Palestinian areas.
