- IRAQ/U-S SOLDIERS VOA 26 July 2003--Three U-S soldiers were killed and four wounded in a grenade attack outside of Baghdad Saturday. The attacks overshadow the capture of several men believed to be deposed Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein's bodyguards.
- IRAQ / HEALTH VOA 26 July 2003--The U-S military's top health official says American and Iraqi medical professionals are rebuilding the country's health care system with help from other countries and international donors
- ONE KILLED, TWO WOUNDED IN ATTACK CENTCOM 26 Jul 2003-- One soldier was killed and two were wounded when their convoy was attacked with small arms, rocket-propelled grenades and possibly an improvised explosive device on Highway 10 near Abu Ghuraib on July 26 at approximately 1:05 p.m.
- THREE KILLED, FOUR WOUNDED IN GRENADE ATTACK CENTCOM 26 Jul 2003-- Three 4th Infantry Division soldiers guarding the Ba'qubah Children's Hospital were killed and four were wounded in a grenade attack here at approximately 11 a.m. July 26.
- COALITION HELPS WITH CLEANUP AND SANITATION CENTCOM 26 Jul 2003-- Coalition forces assisted Iraqis by helping with waste management issues in the towns of Al Asriya, Mosul, Fallujah and Ar Ramadi.
- COALITION ESTABLISHED AERIAL GUNNERY RANGE CENTCOM 26 Jul 2003-- Coalition forces set up an aerial gunnery range near here allowing Coalition helicopter pilots to train with their weapons, thereby allowing them to better protect the security of the Iraqi people.
- COALITION FORCES CONFISCATE WEAPONS CENTCOM 26 Jul 2003-- Coalition forces continued to conduct patrols and raids, confiscating weapons and ammunition throughout Iraq July 25, in support of the effort to ensure lasting freedom.
- WEAPONS CACHE FOUND CENTCOM 26 Jul 2003-- Soldiers of the 4th Infantry Division on July 24 seized a large weapons cache located in a house and three adjacent bunkers near Samarrah.
- LIBERIA/ATTACK VOA 26 July 2003--More civilian casualties, including at least three dead, have been reported after further shelling in the embattled Liberian capital, Monrovia. As U-S marines aboard the U-S-S Iwo Jima headed for Liberian waters, the Liberian defense minister said his government has had no official communication with Washington as to whether U-S peacekeepers can be expected on the ground.

- 410th MILITARY POLICE COMPANY RETURNS HOME FROM IRAQ III Corps 26 Jul 2003-- Approximately 130 soldiers from the 410th Military Police Company will return home to Fort Hood on Saturday (July 26) after serving almost eight months in Iraq, Kuwait, and Qatar as part of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

- ISRAEL/PALESTINIANS VOA 26 July 2003-- Israel is preparing to withdraw its troops from two more Palestinian self-rule areas of the West Bank. The move is part of negotiations to promote the international Roadmap to peace in the Middle East. Ross Dunn reports from Jerusalem.

- BURMA/INTERNATIONAL PRESSURE VOA 26 July 2003--Burma's military rulers appear to be digging in their heels against international pressure to release democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi. They have indirectly linked her to an alleged assassination plot, they have spurned a reconciliation plan offered by neighboring Thailand, and they continue a campaign to discredit her in the press.
