- 15th MEU(SOC) Lands in Kuwait USMC News 15 Feb 2003 -- The 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), which was the first Marine force on the ground in Afghanistan at the start of Operation Enduring Freedom, began moving ashore at a port in Kuwait just after dawn Feb. 12.

- IVORY COAST / TALKS VOA 15 Feb 2003 -- A meeting in the Ghanaian capital, Accra, between Ivory Coast's prime minister and Ivorian rebels ended Friday with no formal announcement of an agreement. There is no word yet on what role the rebels may have in a new coalition government that is being formed to end a five-month war in the West African country.
