- ATK Awarded $5 Million Contract to Produce Artillery Fuze Setter ATK 29 May 2001 -- ATK (Alliant Techsystems)(NYSE: ATK) said it has been selected by the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development, and Engineering Center, (ARDEC), Picatinny Arsenal, N.J., to produce the Portable Inductive Artillery Fuze Setter (PIAFS) under an 18-month contract valued at approximately $5 million.
- Royal Saudi Air Force Orders Boeing F-15C Distributed Mission Training Systems Boeing 29 May 2001 -- The Boeing Company booked the first international sale of its F-15C Distributed Mission Training (DMT) system when it recently signed a foreign military sales contract to provide DMT systems to the Royal Saudi Air Force.
- Lockheed Martin's PAC-3 Missile Wins Prestigious Daedalian's Award Lockheed Martin 29 May 2001 -- The Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC-3) Missile, produced by Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, has won the Daedalian's Weapons System Award, the Colonel Franklin C. Wolfe Memorial Trophy for 2000. The award was presented at the annual Daedalian Convention on May 23, 2001, in Las Vegas, N.V.
