- ATK Awarded $1.2 Million Contract to Produce Component for Crotale NG Air Defense System ATK 10 Apr 2001 -- ATK (NYSE: ATK) (Alliant Techsystems), said it has been awarded a $1.2 million contract from Thales Air Defense (formerly Thomson-CSF/Airsys), Bagneux, France, to produce launch pod containers for the Crotale NG (Next Generation) air defense system. Deliveries under the contract will continue through April 2002.
- General Dynamics Awarded $32 Million Sole-Source Contract for Mobile Telecommunication Switches General Dynamics 10 Apr 2001 -- General Dynamics Communications Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), was recently awarded a sole-source contract to provide Army tactical commanders with a compact, lightweight, highly mobile telephone switching system.
