- Data transfer systems for Type 45 BAE Systems 16 Mar 2001 -- A powerful team (Team 45) of the UK’s leading combat system suppliers, Alenia Marconi Systems (AMS) Integrated Systems Division and BAE Systems Combat and Radar Systems (CaRS) has been awarded a contract by the Type 45 Prime Contract Office for the design, development and delivery of Data Transfer Systems (DTS) for the Royal Navy's new AAWD (Anti Air Warfare Destroyer) Type 45 programme.

- General Dynamics Awarded $37.4 Million Canadian Defense Contract General Dynamics 16 Mar 2001 -- General Dynamics (NYSE:GD) announced today that its Computing Devices Canada business unit, based in Ottawa, Ontario, was awarded a US$37.4 million ($58.6 million Canadian) contract by the Canadian National Defence Ministry for the replacement of the acoustics system for the CP-140 Aurora aircraft and the analysis systems located in four ground stations in British Columbia and Nova Scotia.
- Oshkosh Truck’s Subsidiary, Pierce Manufacturing, Receives $2.4 Million Contract to Refurbish Fire Trucks for the U.S. Army Oshkosh 16 Mar 2001 -- Oshkosh Truck Corporation [NASDAQ: OTRKB] announced today that its subsidiary, Pierce Manufacturing Inc., will refurbish 23 M2500L fire trucks for the U.S. Army Tank Automotive and Armaments Command.
