- General Dynamics Communication Systems Wins Army Tactical Message System Contract, Worth Up to $77 Million General Dynamics 20 Jul 2000 -- General Dynamics Communication Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has been awarded a contract for the Tactical Message System (TMS) program by the U.S. Army's Communications Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J. The initial TMS contract value is nearly $11 million.
