- Lockheed Martin Coastal Systems Business Wins $11.5 Million Navy Contract to Upgrade Combat Systems Lockheed Martin 29 Jun 2000 -- Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics & Surveillance Systems-Syracuse (NE&SS-Syracuse) announced that its Coastal Systems business in Manassas, Va., has won an $11.5 million contract to upgrade combat systems for the U.S. Navy's mine countermeasures vessels (MCM) and minehunter coastal vessels (MHC).
- Sanders Receives COBLU Production Contract Lockheed Martin 29 Jun 2000 -- Sanders, a Lockheed Martin Company, has received a contract from the U.S. Navy for full rate production of Cooperative OUTBOARD Logistics Update (COBLU) systems. COBLU is an upgrade of the SSQ-108 OUTBOARD countermeasures detection and analysis system currently deployed on U.S. and British Royal Navy ships. Under the contract, Sanders will provide up to 35 COBLU systems as well as spares, installation and training support. Total value of the contract, including options, could exceed $250 million.
