- Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics & Surveillance Systems Announces New Leadership Team, Realigns Business Units Lockheed Martin 26 Jun 2000 -- Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics & Surveillance Systems (NE&SS) announced changes to its leadership team and a realignment of some program and business activities to better support NE&SS' diverse set of domestic and international customers.
- Lockheed Martin Team Chosen To Compete For Next Phase of the Integrated Broadcast Service Program Lockheed Martin 26 Jun 2000 -- Lockheed Martin leads an industry team selected for the competitive first phase of the Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) program, a Joint Services program that will effectively manage the flow of intelligence data from satellites and sensors to warfighters. The Lockheed Martin team was awarded $2 million for the six-month program definition and risk reduction phase. IBS is a six-year, Department of Defense program for the Joint Services, with a potential value of $60 million. An engineering and manufacturing development contract is expected to be awarded in April 2001.
