  • Guidance System Production Ramps Up At Lockheed Martin To Replenish Tomahawk Cruise Missile Inventory Lockheed Martin 04 Apr 2000 -- Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics & Surveillance Systems, Akron, has been awarded a contract valued at $62 million from Raytheon Company's Missile Systems business unit, Tucson, Ariz., to supply 644 new and remanufactured Digital Scene Matching Area Correlators and other components for Tomahawk cruise missiles as part of the U.S. military's requirement to renew its supply of weapons.
  • Lockheed Martin NE&SS-Balimore Signs MK 41 VLS Contract With Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Lockheed Martin 04 Apr 2000 -- Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics & Surveillance Systems (NE&SS)-Baltimore has signed a follow-on, direct commercial sale contract with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) for licensed production and test of MK 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS). The follow-on portion of the Phase I contract includes production of four eight-cell modules and is valued at approximately $21 million.
