Collins Training Center
The Collins Training Center is located about 12 miles from the Fort Benning Main Post in Harmony Church. The 1st Battalion, 29th Infantry Regiment continues to provide quality training at the United States Army Infantry School and Center for the Army. At the Collins Training Center, brand new soldiers meet the challenge of becoming a Bradley Fighting Vehicle Infantryman, leaders transition from other branches or the "light" community into the Bradley force, and experienced NCOs learn how to become BFV Master Gunners. All soldiers training with the 1st Battalion, 29th Infantry Regiment receive professional instruction in up-to-date BFV systems.
