In 2006 Camp Morse closed and preperations were made to transfer ownership of the facility to the Republic of Korea. It was included in the 2004 ammendment to the Land Partnership Plan between the United States and the Republic of Korea, first agreed to in 2002.
Camp Morse was a small communications facility on top of Namsan Mountain, near Seoul, Republic of Korea. The Camp consisted of 15 buildings on approximately 8 acres of land. The Camp was manned by members of the 1st Signal Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.
