Combat Service Support Battalion-12
The mission of CSSB-12 is to, on order, conduct combat service support operations in general support of assigned I MEF forces, establish tailored CSS installations IOT rapidly echelon sustainment across the area of operations, allow tailored use of organic and MEF distribution assets, and provide depth and range to the FSSG direct support forces.
The unit is also tasked with attaching additional transportation, engineering, medical, supply, and services capability through combat mapped, pre-configured modules to establish a full CSS capability.
BPT, it executes direct support missions as assigned or as necessary.
