534th TRS - Electronics Laboratory [534th TRS - ELAB]
The 532nd Training Squadron, Electronics Laboratory (ELAB) section at Vandenberg AFB, CA, trains selected technicians in the knowledge and skills needed to perform advanced maintenance on the Automatic Test Station (E35).
The scope of training includes connector repair, use of standard and specialized test equipment, block diagram analysis, in depth self testing, in depth troubleshooting, complete Computer Off-line testing, ATS capabilities, Test Executive Troubleshooting, and Disc Drive Management Operations.
The duration of the course is 33 academic days. Upon completion of this course, students will be awarded the 809 special experience identifier.
ELAB training staff consists of two highly qualified instructors with an average of 16 years field experience.
