37th Training Group [37th TRG]

The 37th Training Group is part of the 37th Training Wing, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. Headquartered at Bldg. 100, Medina Annex, the Group utilizes 180 facilities, and equipment value exceeding $100 million.

The 37th Training Group conducts more then 400 technical training courses in a wide array of base support/combat support functions, military discipline, and physical fitness for more than 36,000 officers, noncommissioned officers and airmen per year.

Since Lackland gained its first technical training mission in 1956, that mission has grown significantly in both size and diversity. Many courses now provide joint-service training for civilians, Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps personnel located at Lackland AFB, Medina Annex and more than eight Operating Locations and Detachments on bases nationwide.

The 37th TRG is made up of 1,600 personnel from all four military services. We conduct professional and technical training to more than 36,000 military and civilians in the armed forces, international community, and other federal agencies. Among the many subjects the 37th TRG trains are:
