2nd Air Operations Support Squadron [2nd ASOS]

The mission of the 2nd Air Support Operations Squadron is to provide Tactical Command and Control of air power to the JFACC and liaison between the JFACC and the Joint "1st ID - 2 ASOS" Team.

The 2nd ASOS provides support to the 1st Infantry Division. Detachment 1, 2nd ASOS, supports 3rd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, while Detachment 2, 2nd ASOS, supports 2nd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division.
