21st Special Tactics Squadron [21st STS]

Prior to the consolidation of the Combat Control Teams into Special Tactics Suadrons, the 21st Special Tactics Squadron was known as the 23rd CCS (Combat Control Sqquadron).

The 21st Special Tactics Squadron deployed in early 2000 to Ali Al SaLem, Kuwait, to support Aerospace Expeditionary Forces 5 and 6 and Operations Northern and Southern Watch.
