898 Engineer Battalion
On order, the 898 Engineer Battalion conducts mobilization and deployment to the mobilization station for training as a part of the 81st Enhanced Separate Brigade. On order, deploys to APOE/SPOE for deployment to the pacific theater of operations. On order, conducts combat operations as a part of the 81st Enhanced Separate Brigade.
It's state mission is to be prepared for employment in the protection of life and property, and the preservation of peace, order, public safety, and or disaster relief operations as required.
