63rd Engineer Company (CSE)

On order, the 63rd Engineer Company (CSE) deploys worldwide by land, air and/or sea to provide survivability, sustainment engineering, mobility, and countermobility support to designated forces in an assigned Area of Operation (AO).

The 63rd Engineer Company (Combat Support Equipment), is a corps horizontal construction asset capable of providing digging assets to forward elements during deliberate defense, as well as construction expertise for roads and airfields in rear areas of operation. The unit received the Joint Meritorious Unit Award for supporting the United Nations humanitarian aid efforts in Somalia. Each platoon within the company supports a training alignment with a brigade of the 24th Infantry Division (Mechanized) and deploys regularly to the National Training Center to support that brigade during deliberate defense operations.
