Troop D, 5-117 Calvary, Rhode Island Army National Guard, is located at the Quonset Armory, 104 Airport Road, North Kingstown, Rhode Island 02818. Troop D flies the Bell AH-1F "Cobra". Soldiers in this unit are trained as Helicopter Pilots (AOC 15A/152G).
The Troop's mission is to perform reconnaissance and security missions in support of division operations, perform rear operations, facilitate division command and control, and conduct other operations as designated by the squadron.
Troop E, 5-117 Calvary, Rhode Island Army National Guard, is located at the Quonset Armory, 104 Airport Road, North Kingstown, Rhode Island 02818. Troop E flies the Bell AH-1S "Cobra". Soldiers in this unit are trained as Helicopter Pilots (AOC 15A/152G). The Troop's mission is to perform reconnaissance and security missions in support of division operations, perform rear operations, facilitate division command and control, and conduct other operations as designated by the squadron.
Troop F, 5-117 Calvary, Rhode Island Army National Guard, is located at the Quonset Armory, 104 Airport Road, North Kingstown, Rhode Island 02818. Soldiers in this unit are trained as Helicopter Mechanics, Armament Repairers and Fuel handlers. The Troop's mission is to perform maintenance and support operations to Squadron Air Reconnaissance units and to conduct other operations as designated by the Squadron.
