371st Corps Support Group
During the 1998 National Training Center rotation of the 116th Cavalry Brigade of the Idaho National Guard, nearly 1,000 combat soldiers maneuvered tanks, Bradleys and Humvees, and infantry soldiers patrolled the mountains. An additional 3,000 soldiers supported them. Since some soldiers originally attached to the 116th Cavalry were mobilized for a mission to Bosnia, Guardsmen from augmenting units came from about 41 states. The 371st Corps Support Group was responsible for the in- and out-bound collection, maintenance, and distribution of equipment.
