3rd Battalion - 178th Field Artillery

In 1998, the 3rd Battalion, 178th Field Artillery successfully fielded the Army's state of the art Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS); a platform for delivering rockets to ranges in excess of 45 km and tactical missiles to ranges in excess of 145 miles.
