212th Signal Battalion (CA) (MSE)

The 212th Signal Battalion (Corps Area) (Mobile Subs Equip) (CA) (MSE), was originally constituted on 1 January 1954 in the Arkansas Army National Guard as the 212th Signal Battalion. It organized and was Federally recognized on 3 May 1954 in central Arkansas with Headquarters at Little Rock.

The unit was ordered into active Federal service on 24 September 1957 at home stations; and was released on 23 October 1957 from active Federal service and reverted to state control.

The unit was ordered into active Federal service on 25 January 1991 at home stations; and released on 26 March 1991 from active Federal service and reverted to state control.
