1-487th Field Artillery

The 1st 487th FA is a 105MM, Direct Support (DS) artillery battalion to the 29th Separate Infantry Brigade (SIB). Equipped with the M119A1 towed howitzer, the 1st 487th provides fire support to the infantry battalions of the 29th SIB.

Hiki No, which means "Can Do Always", is the battalion's motto. The battalion consists of three firing batteries and a headquarters service battery: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Headquarters Headquarters Service Battery.
