
Bird Eye 500, IAI/MALAT's Mini-UAV Successfully Demonstrated in Nuenen, the Netherlands

Eurosatory - Paris, 15 June 2004 - Condor UAV B.V., the Haarlem based Netherlands' distributor ofIAI/MALAT's Mini-UAVs, performed a successful demonstration of the Bird Eye 500 Mini Unmanned Aerial Vehicle system in Nuenen, the Netherlands. The demonstration took place on Monday & Tuesday June 14-15, 2004.
The missions performed included Traffic control, Detection and tracking of vehicles and persons, fire detection and Urban & Farm site monitoring.
The Bird Eye 500 is a member of the family of Mini-UAVs developed and manufactured by Israel Aircraft Industries.
The Bird Eye 500 is a low cost Mini UAV system, providing real time day/night imagery data for law-enforcement and "over the hill" reconnaissance/surveillance. Its typical operational area is 10 km by 10 km.

This product is a further development of IAI/MALAT, that has developed and manufactured a wide range of UAV system such as the Heron, Hunter, Searcher, Ranger & I-View UAV systems.
Condor UAV B.V., the Haarlem based Netherlands' distributor of IAI/MALAT's Mini-UAVs for Civilian applications will be responsible for the marketing and customer support in several of the European countries.
