Notes

    * - The jump from the approximately 40 Boragh to 140 matches an unclear drop by that exact number in BMP-1/WZ-501 inventory. While the Boragh is based on this design, whether any were actually converted was not known as of 2008.

** - The identical nature of assumed numbers for Iranian Scud-type missiles and Iranian Shahab-1/-2 Scud copies suggest there is some or total overlap.

*** - Stated Iranian goals are to convert the entire AH-1J fleet to the Shabaviz 209-1 standard. The estimated date for these upgrades to be completed was unknown as of 2008.

**** - As with the Shabaviz 209-1 program, Iran had stated a desire to overhaul their remaining Bell and Agusta-Bell 214 and 206 types to the Shabaviz 2-75 and 206-1 standards. How much production of those indigenous helicopters would affect existing stocks was unclear and the estimated date for completion was unknown as of 2008.
