Biological Weapons Facilities
Biological technology generally is well developed in Pakistan. Pakistan has a capable biotechnology infrastructure and may be seeking to upgrade hardware for selected biotechnology facilities. Nonetheless, Pakistan is believed to have the resources and capabilities to support a limited biological warfare research and development effort. Pakistan has ratified the BWC.
