BAE SYSTEMS Selected For U.S. Strategic Command Systems And Mission Support Contract

BAE Systems has been selected by the U.S Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) for a Systems and Mission Support contract. The company will now be permitted to bid on task orders released by USSTRATCOM to provide contractor expertise in support of the Commands mission requirements.
The USSTRATCOM Systems and Mission Support (USAMS) blanket purchase agreement contract was awarded to six contractor teams, including BAE Systems Mission Solutions. Winning contractors are allowed to support the Command over one base year, with four option years under a indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract.
BAE Systems has been teaming with USSTRATCOM and its predecessor, the U.S. Air Forces Strategic Air Command for more than 20 years, said Dean Sedivy, BAE Systems USAMS program manager. We have very talented, well-experienced operations and staff personnel who are customer-focused and willing to support the Command as they merge new missions with existing tasks and requirements.
In addition to Mission Solutions, the BAE Systems-led team includes: BAE Systems Information & Electronic Warfare Systems (IEWS), CollaborX, Computer Science Corporation, L3-SYColeman, McCallie Associates Inc., SCITOR, SPARTA, SpecPro, and SYTEX.
