The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine welcomes the decision of the Tallinn Mechanism participating countries to provide an additional €60.9 million to strengthen Ukraine's civil cyber resilience in 2025.
We express our sincere gratitude to all partners participating in the initiative for their solidarity and practical assistance in strengthening our state's capabilities to counter the challenges and threats in cyberspace that have arisen due to Russian aggression against Ukraine.
This is a powerful signal of strategic unity and determination of democratic countries that are consolidating their efforts to support Ukraine in protecting its digital sovereignty. This protection is particularly important in the context of the ever-increasing scale and destructive potential of Russian cyberattacks targeting Ukraine's critical infrastructure and state institutions.
We are convinced that the assistance provided by the participating countries of the Tallinn Mechanism, aimed at implementing projects to strengthen Ukraine's cyber resilience, will contribute to further strengthening operational capabilities, enhancing cyber protection of critical and civilian infrastructure, and accelerating recovery processes after cyber attacks.
By supporting Ukraine, the Tallinn Mechanism is investing in strengthening Europe's cybersecurity and establishing a free, secure, stable, and responsible cyberspace.
As a stakeholder in the Tallinn Mechanism, Ukraine will continue its efforts to implement joint initiatives in the field of cyber defense, exchange experience in countering cyber attacks, improving the speed of threat reporting, joint response to cyber incidents, improving the qualifications of relevant specialists, deepening cooperation with the private sector, and promoting the development of B2B cooperation between Ukrainian and foreign companies.
We are ready to continue working with our partners in the Tallinn Mechanism to consolidate efforts to promote responsible behavior in cyberspace, contribute to strengthening the cyber resilience and cybersecurity of the European and Euro-Atlantic community, and defend the principles of freedom, resilience, and collective security that unite us.
