The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated funds from the reserve fund of the state budget to enhance the resilience of critical infrastructure.
According to the draft resolution, it is envisaged to construct protective structures at facilities of the fuel and energy complex, transport infrastructure, including railway transport, as well as in heating, water supply and drainage systems.
Implementation of the project will increase the protection of energy and transport facilities, prevent man-made accidents and ensure the stable functioning of life support systems - heat, water, energy and transport. This will also contribute to strengthening the country's defence capabilities and supporting the Armed Forces in transporting necessary cargoes.
