Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "Pleased to meet Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher in New York. We highly appreciate the Holy Father's constant spiritual support for Ukraine and the Vatican's humanitarian assistance, including care for Ukrainian children. Ukraine is grateful for Cardinal Matteo Zuppi's mission and values the Holy See's engagement in the release of our prisoners of war and deported children. We continue to hope for His Holiness's apostolic visit to Ukraine, which would provide the critically needed spiritual support to millions of believers during the trying time of the full-scale war. Together with the Holy See, we will continue working to alleviate human suffering and advance the cause of peace. I also reiterated our invitation for Archbishop Gallagher to visit Ukraine are a convenient time."
