Ukraine and Papua New Guinea have established diplomatic relations

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "At the UNGA-80 Ukraine and Papua New Guinea formally established diplomatic relations. I was pleased to sign the relevant Joint Communiqué with my counterpart Justin W Tkatchenko. For us, this is not just a symbolic gesture, but an important step that opens new opportunities for cooperation. I am grateful for Papua New Guinea's clear and principled support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. We are committed to expanding cooperation in critical areas including global food security, digital technologies, and humanitarian initiatives. Strengthening these ties will contribute to international solidarity, peace, and respect for international law."
