The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has supported a draft law introducing administrative penalties for unauthorised entry to military sites.
The draft law aims to enhance the security of military facilities and protect civilians amid the ongoing aggression by the russian federation. Unauthorised entry to such sites poses risks of sabotage and may lead to severe consequences.
The draft law includes:
- Penalties for unauthorised entry to military sites, with increased fines for repeat offences within a year or during special periods;
- Fines ranging from 500 to 3,000 tax-free minimum incomes, with confiscation of tools used in the offence;
- National Police authority to issue reports for such violations;
- Jurisdiction assigned to district, city, and city-district courts.
Adoption of the law will strengthen the security of military sites, reduce unauthorised entries, and enhance civilian safety.
