President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Diia team and took part in the presentation of Diia.AI, an AI assistant that will provide government services through the Diia portal.
Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov and his team showcased Diia.AI and five other new features of the application, all powered by its core technology, to the President.
"Diia.AI is the world's first AI assistant to deliver government services directly in a chat interface. The assistant will be available 24/7 to help citizens find the services they need, check data in state registers, and advise on how to handle paperwork. Starting today, the first service - obtaining an income certificate - will be available. Other services will be rolled out gradually, and soon we will launch the AI assistant in the Diia app itself," said Mykhailo Fedorov.
The application will also soon feature new social and veterans' services, Diia.Signature for legal entities, nine new categories within the International Register of Damage, a service for signing declarations with family doctors, and additional services for drivers and taxpayers. In addition, the Diia team plans to launch a direct request service for contacting local self-government bodies.
Special attention was given to justice system reform, with the team presenting the Electronic Court project. In particular, Ukrainians will be able to file applications in straightforward categories of cases through Diia and track every stage of their review online.
This year, even more schools will join the Mriia educational ecosystem, bringing the total to over two thousand. Mriia is a web platform and application designed for teachers, school administrations, students, and their parents.
Ukraine is also starting the rollout of 5G. Initial tests in Lviv, Kharkiv, and Borodyanka will allow the technology to be tested under real-life conditions, with nationwide coverage to follow.
In addition, Ukraine's defense tech cluster Brave1 is relaunching its grant program. Ukrainian defense tech manufacturers will be able to participate in new grant competitions, including those aimed at developing the production of explosives and missiles.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy commended the work of the Ministry of Digital Transformation team and emphasized his commitment to supporting initiatives critical for the country and its people. According to the President, the system of digital government services must continue to be scaled up while simultaneously improving the efficiency of projects that are already in operation.
