U.S. approves sale of equipment to Ukraine worth more than $300 million

The United States has approved the sale of over $300 million in equipment to Ukraine, supporting Patriot systems and the procurement and maintenance of Starlink services and equipment.
Specifically, the U.S. Department of State approved the sale of equipment valued at $179.1 million to support Ukraine's Patriot air defense system and associated equipment.
"Patriot air defense systems are vital for Ukraine. They protect our people, our cities, and critical infrastructure from relentless russian air attacks," said Ukraine's Minister of Defence, Denys Shmyhal.
Additionally, the U.S. Department of State approved the sale of Starlink satellite communications services and equipment to Ukraine, valued at approximately $150 million.
