Three successful strikes on the Crimean Bridge have become one of the hallmarks of the SSU and have significantly disrupted military logistics of the russian invaders. This was stated by the Head of the Security Service, Lieutenant General Vasyl Maliuk, during an interview with We Are Ukraine (My - Ukraina) TV channel during the Unified News telethon.

'In fact, we have hundreds of operations, each of them deserves respect and attention. But if you need a striking example, it is the Crimean bridge. The first time we approached it from land, the second time - from the water. In 2025, we approached it from underneath the water. Serious damage was caused to the supporting structures, the pillars. The bridge is currently operating in a limited mode, with only trucks weighing no more than five tons permitted to use it. The enemy is not transporting any military logistics on it. I would say that the bridge is in disrepair', remarked Vasyl Maliuk.

According to the Head of the Security Service, during the latest underwater attack the SSU struck the bridge twice, each strike having a power of 1.1 tons in TNT equivalent.

At the same time, the Lieutenant General emphasized that the Ukrainian Security Service continues to carry out the tasks of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, to end russian domination in the Black Sea. To this end, the SSU is developing maritime drone technology.

'This is no longer just a kamikaze regime. These are multi-purpose platforms. These are 'aircraft carriers': they carry FPV-drones and machine guns. They fully engage in combat with enemy aircraft, lay mines, and perform many other functions,' the SSU Chief informed.

Responding to the journalist's question about threats to his own life, the SSU Head said that after the successful attacks on the Crimean bridge and the special operation Spider Web he had become one of the enemy's top targets.

'They are constantly working on this. It is their priority. We understand this. For security reasons, I cannot reveal all the details, but I have many backup command posts. Needless to say, I frequently change my place of residence. They cannot reach me with acts of sabotage. Now they are trying to use missiles and Shahed drones. However, I am not worried at all; it only motivates me. I am sitting here in front of you, alive, healthy, and smiling. Everything is fine,' concluded Vasyl Maliuk.
