Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "It was a pleasure to meet with Antonio Tajani and thank Italy for organising this year's Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome.
URC 2025 is more than just a conference — it is a roadmap for transformation. Italy shows what true partnership means: going beyond infrastructure to rebuild institutions, human capital, and peace.
I deeply value Italy's clear stance on steadfast and practical support for Ukraine in resisting Russia's full-scale aggression. We discussed ways to advance our bilateral cooperation.
We also signed a declaration of intent to pursue an array of long-term Cyber Capacity Building initiatives, supporting Ukraine's national digital infrastructure.
I am grateful to Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy for allocating €1 million for the implementation of projects within the Tallinn Mechanism.
Today's step builds on the 2024 Ukrainian-Italian security cooperation agreement.
We are deeply grateful to our Italian partners for all the support and joint efforts to strengthen Europe and the transatlantic security."
