Based on evidence collected by the Security Service, another agent of russia's federal security service, who adjusted enemy air strikes on Odesa region, has been convicted to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The investigation established that the perpetrator guided russian kamikaze drones and missiles to port infrastructure in the southern region of Ukraine.

The agent also attempted to identify and transmit to his handler the combat positions of anti-aircraft missile systems and radar stations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine defending the airspace near the Black Sea.

If the occupiers obtained these coordinates, they hoped to use them to evade Ukrainian air defenses during a new series of strikes on Odesa region.

The SSU acted pre-emptively and detained the traitor in May 2024 while he was conducting reconnaissance near a potential target.

According to the investigation, the enemy agent was the head of a local company that employed sailors on fishing and merchant ships.

The asset recorded the locations of the 'required' objects under the guise of business trips in the region.

A phone with evidence of his work for russia was seized during the searches.

Based on the evidence collected by SSU investigators, the court found the accused guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The investigation was conducted by the SSU Odesa Office under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor's Office.
